No, it will not hold your phone with a case, you will need to take the phone out of it's case to put it on this mount.
However, this is the best mount out there. Solid construction. Very easy to change positions and it hold the phone stady! I'm mounting this thing on my adventure bike and shooting videos with the iphone and it's great. I love it.
